Paul Brink Obituary

Paul Brink, 78, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Vincennes, Indiana. He was born June 10, 1938 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the son of Clay and Vashti (Correll) Brink. He married Hisako ‘Hazel' Hamai on February 2, 1959 and she survives.

Paul retired from Hamilton Glass after working there for 32 years. He was a member of the 4th Street Wesleyan Church in Lawrenceville, Illinois and an Air Force veteran.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Robert Brink and Dale Brink; and sisters, Lucille Osman, Beulah Brink, Nancy Eagleson, and Ruthe McKinney.

Survivors include his wife, Hisako ‘Hazel'; son, David L. Brink and his wife, Imelda, of Aurora, Illinois; daughters, Susan ‘Susie' Brink of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Betty J. Brink Perry and her husband, David, of North Port, Florida; brother, James Brink and Susie Miller of Lawrenceville, Illinois; sister, Judy McKinstry and her husband, Roy, of Lawrenceville, Illinois; three grandchildren, Christina Brink Pisciotto of Oswego, Illinois, Ryan Perry and Karissa Perry, both of North Port, Florida; and four great-grandchildren, Tara Pisciotto, Michael Pisciotto, Leo Perry, and Mila Thomas.

Graveside services will be Friday, October 14, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery, with military rites. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Paul's memory may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice or the Lawrence County Veterans Affair Department.
