Michael 'Mike' Hill

Michael Hill, age 48, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN.  He was born December 17, 1966, in Phoenix, Arizona, the son of Bill and Patricia (Dugan) Hill.  He married Julie Legg on September 29, 2012, at Island Free Methodist Church. Mike was a truck driver and screen printer.  He owned and operated Tie-Dye Hill.  Mike attended Island Free Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Julie, of rural Lawrenceville; his parents, Bill and Patricia Hill of rural Lawrenceville; one son, Josh Legg of Richmond, Virginia; four daughters, Stephanie Hill, Lucy Hill, Chloe Bowie and Sophia Bowie, all of rural Lawrenceville; one brother, Kerry (Tonya) Hill of rural Sumner, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 PM at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.  Friends and family should feel free to wear tie-dyed or bright colored clothing to honor Mike's wishes of having a colorful celebration of his life. Burial will take place in Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Island Church Food Pantry with envelopes available through the funeral home.
