Frankie Linder Obituary
Frankie C. Linder, age 79, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. She was born July 3, 1939 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Jackson and Chrein (Emmons) Glosser. She was married to Dale Eugene Linder and he preceded her in death.
Frankie retired from Hamilton Glass after working there for 25 years. She owned and operated her own sewing, alteration, and quilting business. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling overseas to Europe and the Middle East.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; one daughter, Sharon Tate; three brothers, Daniel Glosser, William ‘Bill' Glosser, and Phillip Glosser; one sister, Linda Bowen; and two great-granddaughters, Isabella and Abigail.
Survivors include two sons, Edward R. Tate and wife, Lea Ann, of Lawrenceville, Illinois and James L. Tate and wife, Marion, of Lawrenceville, Illinois; four daughters, Deloris Dunlap and husband, Ed, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Rosemary Wallesverd of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Karen Crews of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Peggy Tate and husband, Ziad Abazid, of Princeton, Indiana; one brother, Jackson Glosser of Bridgeport, Illinois; 18 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Cancer Resource Center & Wig Shoppe.
