Anita Kay Linder, age 65, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on February 15, 1954 in Madisonville, Kentucky, the daughter of Ezra and Louise McGregor Smith. She was married to Howard Linder and he preceded her in death on April 24, 2019.
Anita Kay was the office administrator for Atlanta Cardiology Clinic in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Howard.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Oates and wife, Chanda of Central City, Kentucky and Joseph Oates of Smiths Grove, Kentucky; one brother, Ezra Smith, Jr. of Evansville, Indiana; two sisters, Shirley Crick of Crofton, Kentucky and Mary Hartz of Owensboro, Kentucky; one step-son, Scottie Linder and wife, Elizabeth of Lawrenceville, Illinois; one step-daughter, Megan Plunkett and husband, Billy of Dexter, Missouri; two brothers-in-law, Edward R. Tate and wife, Lea Ann of Lawrenceville, Illinois and James L. Tate and wife, Marion of Lawrenceville, Illinois; four sisters-in-law, Deloris Dunlap and husband, Ed of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Rosemary Wallesverd of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Karen Crews of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Peggy Tate and husband, Ziad Abazid of Princeton, Indiana 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
There will be a Rosary Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 6:00pm at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville, Illinois. A Funeral Mass will be conducted Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 10:00am at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Oak Lawn Cemetery in St. Francisville, Illinois.
Memorial donations may be given to the family for expenses.
