Jerry Leon Totten

Jerry Leon Totten, age 41, of Olney, Illinois passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024 at his residence. He was born on December 10, 1982 in Flora, Illinois, the son of Jerry and Claudia (Totten).

Jerry was a concrete finisher by trade. He was known for his joking personality, he loved to make people laugh…and, was a big teddy bear. He was a father, beloved brother, uncle, and a great friend to many. He enjoyed listening to music, as well as being a great singer. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and will be sadly missed by those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Preceding him in death were his parents; twin brother, Terry Totten; and one sister, Peggy Urban.

Survivors include three daughters, Ella Suzanne, Ivy Elizabeth, and Evelyn Grace; four sisters, Billie Young, Daisy Smith, Ollie Stremme, and Jackquie Ambrose; one brother, Paul Young; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 5:00pm at the Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner, Illinois. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00pm until the service hour of 5:00pm at the funeral home.
