Suzanne Ryan Obituary
Suzanne Ryan, 84, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville, Illinois. She was born March 22, 1933 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of John, Jr. and Eva Belle (Lockman) Payne. She married Percy ‘Eddie' Ryan on October 13, 1951 and he preceded her in death on November 24, 2010.
Suzanne worked at Victor Dana for 25 plus years. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; four brothers, Jackie Payne, Bill Payne, Gene Payne, and Bob Payne; six sisters, Betty Tredway, Peggy Vogel, Blanche Roberts, Maxine Wright, Mary Alice Payne, and Sally Fleetwood; and one grandson, Ross Tiffany.
Survivors include one son, Eddie Joe Ryan and wife, Pam, of Bridgeport, Illinois; three daughters, Peggy Lawson and husband, Rex of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Lori Potts and husband, Virgil of rural Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Julie Redman and husband, Brad, of Robinson, Illinois; nine grandchildren, Sabrina Bickers, Ashley Ryan, Jodie Cullison, Jessica Dowty, Molli Potts, Sam Potts, Chase Tiffany, Josh Redman, and Kasey Redman; 17 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jerry Ryan and wife, Jeannie, of Joliet, Illinois; sister-in-law, Cherri Enmark and husband, Wayne, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM CST at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Suzanne's memory may be made to the First Christian Church or SIDS Foundation of Illinois 6010 Route 53, Suite A, Lisle, Illinois 60532.
