Markell Q. Coleman

Markell Q. Coleman, 7, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Monday, July 3, 2017 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville, Illinois. He was born March 17, 2010 in Robinson, Illinois, the son of Michael Coleman and Roscedia Sires.

Markell was a student at Parkside Elementary School, where he would have entered 2nd grade this fall. He was affiliated with the Calvary Apostolic Church. He enjoyed being on the All-Star Baseball Team; playing with his Apple tablet, Army men, and Power Rangers; and watching the movie, Blank Check.

Survivors include his father, Michael of Princeton, Indiana; mother, Roscedia of Lawrenceville, Illinois; paternal grandparents, John and Bonnie Coleman of Lawrenceville, Illinois; maternal grandparents, Vernon and Delia Sires of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and three sisters, Marley Sires, Ashanti Coleman, and Amiyah Swing all of Lawrenceville, Illinois.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 1:00 PM CST at the Calvary Apostolic Church in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM CST at the church. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Markell's memory may be made to the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois for funeral expenses.
