Eugenia Mullins Obituary

Eugenia Mullins, 98, of Dodge City, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Trinity Manor Nursing Home. She was born February 24, 1918 in Bond Township, Illinois, the daughter of Edgar E. Gosnell and Catherine Clair McCarty. She was first married to Ira Kimmel, then Bertis Stevenson, and later George Mullins.

Eugenia worked as a nursing aid at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Christian Church and was also a missionary for a year in Africa.

Preceding her in death were her parents; three husbands; daughter, Wilma Williams; son, David Stevenson; step-son, Jerry Mullins; brothers, Edgar Gosnell and Frank Malcom; and sisters, Anna Jane Roberts, Lucille Rife, and Lois Curts.

Survivors include her son, Don Kimmel of Panama City Beach, Florida; sister, Ruth Lathrop of Lawrenceville, Illinois; son-in-law, Larry Williams of Dodge City, Kansas; step-daughter, Billie Jean Taylor of Flat Rock, Illinois; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cresthaven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Eugenia may be made to the Pleasant Ridge Church.
